Some ghosts seem to feel that they are not yet ready to move on, and that they must accomplish their objectives before they vanish with the past. Other ghosts linger, filled with regret and self-hatred. Burdened by their mistakes and the self-destructiveness of their choices, they cling onto empty hopes and lost opportunities. Stranger things have compelled people to wander about this existence with reckless abandon. Then again, the human race has been notorious for repeating history, as well as choosing familiar habits and surroundings to envelop their daily routine. Perhaps the affliction is not that youre hell-bent on pleasing others, but rather that you feel that others deserve more. A rare strength that one may possess is the willingness to give, but this can simultaneously be ones weakness and downfall. Maybe you dont know how to say no. I sure dont. Then again, Im personally too stubborn to accept no for an answer from people. Is it that ghosts from ones past haunt them? I believe that ghosts may only appear to those that still believe in them. After all, apparitions appear only to those that have yet to find closure to the misdeeds of anothers mistakes. Tell me if Im wrong. Wouldnt be the first time I was.
